ORDER
Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.08.2025 and not to acquire the petitioners' land an extent of 30 cents in Old S.No.128/3 (Part) T.S. No.2, (Part) of Amirthapuram Village, Tiruttani Taluk, Tiruvallur Disrict and acquire the temple land adjacent to the petitioners' land in S.No.128/2A T S No.3 of Amirthapuram Village, Tiruttani Taluk, Tiruvallur District.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have been in possession of the aforesaid property. While so, the 2nd respondent initiated proceedings to acquire 2/6
their part of the land and issued paper publication in the newspaper on 24.07.2025 under Section 15(2) of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 for providing road to the Tiruttani Temple by connecting the Padachettikulam Village and the West Tiruttani Chittor Road and called upon all the concerned owners to submit their objections. Immediately the petitioner submitted their objections to the 2nd respondent in the form of representation on 22.08.2025. As the same did not evoke any response, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondent concerned will pass orders on the representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a stipulated period.
5. Heard both sides.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the representation 3/6
of the petitioner dated 22.08.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and also affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P.No.42112 of 2025 is closed.
8. WMP.No.42110 of 2025 filed to permit the petitioners to file single writ petition is allowed.
