ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for non compliance of the order dated 15.07.2024 passed by this Court in W.P.No.18841 of 2024, thereby directed the respondent to disburse the

gratuity, employee provident fund and arrears of salary to the petitioner with applicable interest within a period of eight weeks. 2.

On instructions, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that already the society, in which the petitioner was working, is under liquidation and no fund is available with the society to disburse the gratuity, employee provident fund and arrears of salary to the petitioner. The society has only the movable assets to the tune of Rs.1,37,400/-. Even then, the petitioner was paid a sum of Rs.50,000/- on 13.01.2025.

Considering the above submissions, no contempt is made out as against the respondent and the Contempt Petition stands dismissed. 12.03.2025 Index : Yes/No : Yes/No Speaking/Non Speaking order rts
