The petitioners were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.08.2025, for the offences punishable under Sections 4(1)(C) and 4(1-A)(ii) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition (Amendment) Act 2024, in Crime No.261 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks bail.

2. When the matter is taken up today for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on instructions submitted that the petitioners have been detained under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.
