ORDER

This criminal original petition bas been filed seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.19 of 2023, pending trial before the Assistant Sessions Judge, Additional Special Court for Trial of Criminal Cases relating to MPs and MLAs, Singaravelar Maaligai, Chennai.

2.Heard Mr.M.Selvaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.A.Gopinath, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent. 3.This Court has already quashed the proceedings for A1, A3, A4, A5 and A7 in Crl.OP.No.16084 etc., of 2023, by an order dated 20.7.2023. The said order will also enure in favorur of the petitioner. The reasoning for quashing the proceedings has been clearly brought out in the earlier order.

4.In the result, the proceedings in C.C.No.19 of 2023, on the file of Assistant Sessions Judge, Additional Special Court for Trial of Criminal Cases relating to MPs and MLAs, Singaravelar Maaligai, Chennai, is hereby quashed insofar as the petitioner also and this criminal original petition stands allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
