The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first and the second respondents to execute the witness warrant issued against DW2 by the learned XX Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Allikulam, in S.T.C.No.1780 of 2021.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first and second respondents.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the issuance of the warrant against the witness DW2 in S.T.C.No.1780 of 2021 on 15.04.2025, by the learned XX Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Allikulam, the respondent Police have not executed the same till date. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that the warrant issued against DW2 will be executed at the earliest. 2/4
