Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records on the file of the first respondent in connection with the order of rejection passed by him his proceeding Na.Ka.No.080992/Niyamanam.3/2003 dated 6.4.2004 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner in the post of Grade II Police constable for the year 2002-2003 with all monetary and service benefits.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order of the first respondent in connection with the order of rejection passed by him in his proceeding Na.Ka.No.080992/Niyamanam.3/2003 dated 06.4.2004 and to quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner in the post of Grade II Police constable for the year 2002-2003 with all monetary and service benefits.

2. When the matter was listed on 18.08.2017, there was no representation for the petitioner either in person or through the counsel and hence the matter was adjourned by two weeks and listed today. Even today, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the challenge itself is made for recruitment to the post of Grade II Police constable for the year 2002-2003 and therefore nothing survives for adjudication in this Writ Petition.
