O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to transfer the patta in favour of the petitioner pursuant to the application submitted by the petitioner on 23.11.2019. 2.The case of the petitioner is that her mother was the absolute owner of the property and executed a Settlement Deed in favour of the petitioner in the year 2019. The original patta stood in the name of one Ganapathy Thambiran. The petitioner after becoming the owner of the property, submitted an application to the respondents to effect the necessary changes and to issue patta in favour of the

petitioner. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate direction.

3.Heard Mr.N.Suresh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.A.Aruldoss, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents. 4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 23.11.2019 and deal with the same strictly in accordance with law. If the second respondent finds that notice must be issued to any other interested parties, such notice shall also be issued, before passing the final orders. The second respondent shall pass final orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent along with a copy of this order.

5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
