This application has been filed to implead The Director of Town and Country Planning, Town and Country Planning Office, CMDA Office Complex, E and C, Market Road, Srinivasa Nagar, Virugambakkam, Koyambedu, Chennai 600 107 as 8 th respondent in the writ petition.

2. Petition has been filed since one of the grounds raised by the 7 th respondent was that the permission had been granted by the Assistant Director of Town and Country planning and not by the Director. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the permission has been granted by the Assistant Director exercising powers vested and granted by the Director. In order to clear that issue, this miscellaneous petition has been filed. Taking all factors into consideration, the petition is allowed.

respondent. Post the matter on 12.12.2024. R7 to file counter by then.
