The petitioner herein was arrested on 18.08.2025 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 115(2), 309(4), 311, 125, 1/4

324(2), 351(3) of BNS Act in Crime No.541 of 2025 on the file of the respondent, seeks bail.

2.The allegation against this petitioner is that he waylaid and robbed a sum of Rs.500/- from the defacto complainant. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that only for statistical purpose this case has been foisted against the petitioner. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent reported that there are 15 previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner and also considering the fact that there are 15 previous cases pending against the petitioner and though the petitioner is in custody for a long period, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
