Mr.P.Anandakumar, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this Writ Petition, even at this juncture.

He would accede to the receipt of representation dated 26.07.2023 and 31.10.2023, whereunder the petitioner has sought conduct of Kumbabhishekam or any other festivals in the Sree Doupadi Amman Temple at Bagaveli Village, Walajah Taluk, Ranipet District. On instructions, he would submit that the representations will be disposed after hearing the petitioner expeditiously.

3. In light of the aforesaid, mandamus is issued to R2, being Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO), Walajah Taluk, Ranipet District, to hear the petitioner and dispose representations dated 27.06.2023 and 31.10.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from date of receipt of a copy of this order.
