Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to re-classify the Cart Track situated in Survey Nos.380/1 and 389/12, Mukasipidariyur - A Village, Perudurai Taluk, Erode District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2024.

Aggrieved by the fact that the cart track which belongs to him had been classified as Nilavial Vandipathai, the petitioner has given a representation to the authorities to reclassify the land as a patta land by representation dated 25.10.2024. However, the authorities have not passed any order on the same. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Mr. A.Selvendran, Special Government Pleader would submit that the Officer concerned to consider the petitioner's representation is the Commissioner, Land Administration, Ezhilagam, Chepauk, Chennai. Therefore, the Commissioner, Land Administration, Ezhilagam, Chepauk, Chennai is suo motu impleaded in this Writ Petition as 3rd respondent.

3. Heard the learned counsels on the either side and perused the records.

4. Considering this limited prayer and also taking into account the fact that the representation which has been presented on 25.10.2024 is yet to be taken up for enquiry, a mandamus is issued to the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2024, within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above lines. No costs.
