survey, measure, identify and demarcate the lands in Old survey No.111/17(part) and 111/18(part), new T.S.No.163 and the lands in Old survey No.111/23 new T.S.No.172 of Thiruvanmiyur Village, as per the Revenue records and to fix the boundary stones therefore in the presence of the 3rd and 4th respondents herein by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2025.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents 1 & 2 to survey, measure, identify and demarcate the lands in Old survey No.111/17(part) and 111/18(part), new T.S.No.163 and the lands in Old survey No.111/23 new T.S.No.172 of Thiruvanmiyur Village, as per the Revenue records and to fix the boundary stones in the presence of the 3rd and 4th respondents herein by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2025.

2. It is seen that in order to survey the aforementioned property, the petitioner submitted representation before respondents 1 & 2. So far respondents 1 & 2 did not take any steps to survey and demarcate the 2/4

aforementioned property. Hence, this writ petition.

3. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to survey the aforementioned property after issuance of notice to the petitioner and respondents 3 & 4 and to serve the survey report to the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that, if the surveyor concerned is obstructed by third parties while surveying the subject land, the said surveyor can approach the jurisdictional police seeking police aid and on such request, the jurisdictional police shall provide adequate police protection to the surveyor.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
