This petition is filed to condone the delay of 187 days in filing the appeal.

Heard Mr.K.V.Muthu Visakan, learned counsel for the petitioner. Both the respondents have been served.

Mrs.R.Sree Vidhya, learned counsel enters appearance for the second respondent, who has no objections.

There is no representation on behalf of the first respondent, though being served and the name and address having been shown in the cause-list.

The delay is only 187 days. Having been satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 187 days in filing the appeal is condoned. Accordingly, the petition stands ordered. It is made clear that for the delay period, the petitioner cannot seek any interest.
