2. The Manager, ... Respondents / Respondents These cases are taken up for settlement before the National Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Mr.K. Varadha Kamaraj, learned counsel for the claimants and M/s. Sai Srujan Tayi, learned counsel for the Insurance company are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:
TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The Tribunal has awarded a sum of Rs.22,45,000/-, with interest at 7.5% per annum, from the date of petition till the date of realization (excluding the Default period, if any). Aggrieved by the award of the Tribunal, the claimants preferred the appeal in C.M.A.No.2612 of 2025 and the insurance company had preferred the appeal in C.M.A.No.3793 of 2025.
2. After due deliberation and consultation, both the parties have agreed to settle the award to a sum of Rs.27,50,000/- (Rupees Twenty Seven Lakhs and Fifty Thousands Only), as full quit compensation, inclusive of the interest.
3. Hence, the insurance company is directed to deposit the amount of Rs.27,50,000/- (Rupees Twenty Seven Lakhs and Fifty Thousands Only), less the amount already deposited, if any, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, to the credit of M.C.O.P.No.2085 of 2022 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal (II Court of Small Causes, Chennai and on such deposit, the claimants are directed to withdraw the same as per the apportionment stated below.

4. The Tribunal is directed to transfer the above said award amount to the Bank accounts of the claimants by way of NEFT / RTGS, on proper identification, in accordance with the terms of the award, without insisting on any formal permission petition.
5. In the result, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal in C.M.A.No.3793 of 2025 is disposed of accordingly, and the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal in C.M.A.No.2612 of 2025 is closed. Consequently, connected civil miscellaneous petitions, if any stand closed. No costs.

The full Court fee paid shall be refunded to the appellant in the manner provided under Section 69-A of the Tamil Nadu Court-Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955 and the Court Fees Act, 1870 as provided for under sub Sec.1 of Section 21 r/w 25 of LSA Act 1987 as amended in 1994.
