This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the second respondent-Police not to harass the petitioner except under due process of law.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents-Police, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the tenants of the petitioner, the second respondentPolice sent summons to the petitioner for investigation/enquiry. Subsequently, after investigation, the said complaint was closed as the dispute between the parties pertains to money dispute, which is purely civil in nature.

3. In view of the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
