Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to assess the petitioner's Bill of entry No.495463 dated 30.05.2003 pertaining to import of 7620 pieces of Portable Emergency Lamps, Model No.PRL 786 to the usual customs and counter vailing duty on the value declared by the petitioner at US $ 3.25 per unit and 16% on the maximum retail price Rs.330 plus SAD 4% on the assessed value and to clear the goods.
