This petition has been filed seeking to issuance writ of mandamus, directing the 2nd Respondent to consider the on-line application dated 16.05.2024 to issue non traceable certificate to the petitioner with regard to the missing original sale deed document No.3078 of 2008 dated l7.11.2008 on the file of the Sub Registrar Office-II, Dharmapuri District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.09.2024.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint before the second respondent for missing of sale deed registered vide Document No.3078 of 2008 dated 17.11.2008 in respect of the subject property comprised in S.No.433/35C measuring to an extent of 924 sq.ft in Virupakshipuram Village, Dharmapuri District and the same is pending.

3. Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents submits that on receipt of the said complaint, the petitioner 2/4

was called for an enquiry on 14.12.2024. However, despite receipt of the summons, the petitioner failed to appear for enquiry and the complaint is pending.

4. Therefore, if the petitioner appears for enquiry within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of this order, the 2nd respondent is directed to conduct enquiry and pass orders on the application submitted by the petitioner's application in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. If the petitioner failed to appear within a period of two weeks for enquiry, the 2nd respondent is directed to close the complaint. 13.02.2025 Index : Yes/No.
