Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent herein to pass appropriate orders on the proposal submitted by the third respondent vide Letter No.38703/E1/2017, dated 30.12.2021 relating to conversion of 52 posts as Administrative Posts as promotional posts for Ministerial Staffs (NonTechnical) serving at Department of Economics and Statistics, by considering
the reminder letter dated 17.11.2023 submitted by the third respondent herein and by considering the representation dated 20.11.2023 submitted by the writ petitioner herein, within time limit stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the second respondent herein to pass appropriate orders on the proposal submitted by the third respondent vide Letter No.38703/E1/2017, dated 30.12.2021 relating to conversion of 52 posts as Administrative Posts as promotional posts for Ministerial Staffs (Non-Technical) serving at Department of Economics and Statistics, by considering the reminder letter dated 17.11.2023 submitted by the third respondent herein and by considering the representation dated 20.11.2023 submitted by the writ petitioner herein, within time limit stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to consider the request made by the petitioner, in view of the proposal submitted by the third respondent vide Letter No.38703/E1/2017, dated 30.12.2021 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
