ORDER
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 15.03.2025 seeking to survey and fix the boundaries of the petitioner's land in S.F. NO. 283 to an extent of 0.74 acres in Krishnapuram Village, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District.
2.Mr.P.Ganesan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both the parties, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner made an application on 15.03.2025, to measure the petitioner's property and fix the boundary, till date the same has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, he prayed to direct the respondents to consider and dispose of petitioner's application dated 15.03.2025. 4.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the application of the petitioner dated 15.03.2025 will be considered and disposed of within four weeks.
5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 6.Considering the submission made by both the parties and in view of the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 15.03.2025 and dispose of the same on merits and in
accordance with law, after issuing due notice to the obstructors, if any. It is needless to state that, if there is any obstruction for measuring the petitioner's land, the respondents shall complete the process with the aid of the Police. Such exercise shall be done by the respondents within a period of four weeks from today.
7.With the aforesaid directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
