ORDER

This petition has been filed to relax the condition viz., The petitioner shall appear before the trial court (Special Court for the Cases under the prevention of Corruption Act, Chennai) on 2nd working day of every alternate month at 10.30 a.m. until further orders imposed on the petitioner in Crl.M.P.No.4682 of 2023 in Crl.M.P.No.3214 of 2023 in Crl.A.No.229 of 2023 by its order dated 05.04.2023.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, 2/4

a senior citizen, aged about 70 years is facing difficulty in complying the condition in view of his ill health and old age. Hence, prays to relax the condition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police submitted that the petitioner is complying with the conditions diligently.

4.Considering the fact that petitioner is aged about 70 years having age related health ailments and the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner has been complying with the conditions diligently, the condition imposed on the petitioner to appear before the trial court on the 2nd working day of every alternate month at 10.30 a.m. until further orders, is totally relaxed.
