This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct respondents 1 and 2 not to harass the petitioners.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the third respondent herein, the respondents/Police issued summons to the petitioners for enquiry and there is no harassment as alleged by the petitioners.

3. No doubt, after receiving the complaint, it is the duty of the police to conduct an enquiry prior to register the case and to file final report. Calling the petitioners for enquiry cannot be considered as harassment. Hence, the petitioners are directed to co-operate for the enquiry/investigation.
