Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent. 2.The petitioners seek modification of the condition by which, the petitioners were directed to appear before the respondent police everyday until further orders. It is stated by the learned counsel that the petitioners are residents of Tirunelveli. But the offence involved is under Section 399 IPC. Investigation will necessarily have to be done about the antecedents of the petitioners and the place in which the petitioners wanted to commit the offence of 399 IPC. In view of the same, application seeking modification is dismissed. On the other hand, the condition to appear before the respondents everyday, is restricted for three weeks and thereafter as and when required. 3.Accordingly, this modification petition stands dismissed. 21.12.2023 kp C.V.KARTHIKEYAN , J.
