The petitioner/A1, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 465. 468,471,409,420,120 (B) of I.P.C in Crime No.67 of 2023 registered on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is stated that there are totally 10 accused. The defacto complainant was looking out for the financial assistance for his business. He came into contact with this petitioner. It is stated that this petitioner/A1 introduced A2, A3 A4 and A7. They also stated that they will obtain loan from R.B.I and in this regard they had also produced several documents and insisted the petitioner to pay an initial amount. Believing all these letters the defacto complainant had paid a sum of Rs.1.47 crores as advance and also deposited various other documents. However, no loan amount had been sanctioned by the accused persons. A2,A3 and A4 had been arrested, but since final report was not filed, bail had been granted under Section 167(2) of Cr.P.C. The respondent are still not able to identify A2, A9 and A10.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that they are ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court.

4. In view of fact that the petitioner had produced fake documents with RBI seal, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to this petitioner Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
