issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records pertaining to the order of detention passed by the second respondent in his proceedings in No.1120/BCDFGISSSV/2024, dated 12.11.2024 and quash the same as illegal and produce the detenu, namely Rooban (aged 36), s/o. Edward as GOONDA, now she is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal II, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.

Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.8712, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 18.12.2024.

Thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
