ORDER
The petitioner seeks a direction upon the 1st respondent to dispose his appeal filed by him on 01.09.2025.
2. Mr.AM.Ayyadurai, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 4 and 5. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The petitioner has filed an appeal before the 1st respondent on 01.09.2025 challenging the order passed by the 2nd respondent, dated 25.08.2025, rejecting his application for renewal of the track rent. However, till date, the 1st respondent has not disposed the said appeal. Page No.2 of 6
Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition before this Court for appropriate orders.
4. Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court, issues a direction to the 1st respondent to dispose the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 01.09.2025 on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the 1st respondent to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 01.09.2025 and dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any.
