O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation in Crime No.129 of 2025 from the file of the third respondent to some other agency.

Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

The main grievance of the petitioner is that despite the arrest of the accused in Crime No.129 of 2025, registered under Sections 331(3) and 305(a) of BNS for the alleged theft of ten sovereigns and three grams of gold and a cash of Rs.9000/-, no recovery has been made from the accused and there has been no progress in the investigation. Hence, the petitioner has sought transfer of investigation.

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent Police, on instructions, submitted that the stolen jewels from the petitioner's house were sold by the accused to Attica Gold Company, which in turn, without knowing that the property was a stolen property, sold the same in Vijayawada. However, the said company has also 2/4

been arrayed as an accused in this case. He further submitted that the investigation has now been completed and the final report has been filed through e-filing in LTN20230000809C202500250 before the XVII Judicial Magistrate, Saidapet, on 03.10.2025.

In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that the respondent Police have conducted the investigation properly. Therefore, no further directions are required in this case, 6.

Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed. 06.10.2025 ham To 1.
