Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to digitalize and upload the patta online with respect to the property bearing Survey No. 1213/2A5 patta No. 1016 measuring 1904 sq.ft situate at Poonamallee Taluk, Tiruvallur District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2025. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to digitalize and upload the patta online with respect to the subject property by considering the petitioner's representation dated 24.05.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondent.

3. The case of the petitioner is that she is the owner of the property through a registered sale deed dated 19.03.2012. The patta was also issued in her name vide Patta No.1016. Even though the hard copy of the patta was given to the petitioner, she wanted to upload the patta online and hence, she made a representation on 24.05.2025 to the respondent. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to act upon the representation 2/4

submitted by the petitioner on 24.05.2025 based on the title document and patta that was already issued to the petitioner and to upload the patta online within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
