O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 07.07.2025 seeking to survey and issue PATTA in the name of the petitioner in respect of the property in Survey No.12/2A and 20/5 situated at Sevampalayam Village, Veerapandi, Salem District, measuring and extent of 45 cents.

2. Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of respondents. By consent of both the parties, this writ petition is taken up for disposal at the stage of admission itself.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has approached the respondents herein by way of representation dated 07.07.2025 to survey the land and issue patta in favour of the petitioner with respect to aforesaid land. However, till date, no order was passed. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submitted that so far, the petitioner has not filed any online application for surveying the land and issuance of patta. In the event, he files an online application, the same would be considered and appropriate orders passed within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court and the said submission has been acceded by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

6. In view of the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without going into the merits of the case, issues the following directions:

(i) The petitioner is directed to file an online application, seeking survey of the aforesaid land and issuance of patta. (ii) In the event any online application has been filed by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to survey the land and complete the entire exercise, after giving due notice and opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons, if any, within a

period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of online application. (iii) It is needless to say, in case of any obstruction being created by third parties, the second respondent is at liberty to approach the Police officials, in which case, the Police officials shall render assistance to the second respondent to carry out the aforesaid exercise. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
