ORDER

The petitioner seeks direction to the respondent to conduct enquiry on his complaint dated 17.03.2025.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that one Ayyavu married his sister about 20 years ago, suppressing his earlier marriage. During the short period he lived with his sister, she was subjected to physical abuse and thereafter, she went hiding. However, on 2.12.2024, he unlawfully entered into a family function of the petitioner and intimidated them. Hence, he lodged a complaint.

3. The grievance of the petitioner appears to be that the said compliant has not been enquired and FIR has not been filed by the respondent Police.

4. Considering the facts of the case, this Court is of the view that the petitioner's remedy lies somewhere else and not before this Court by way of filing Writ Petition. Therefore, the petitioner shall approach the concerned

Judicial Magistrate by filing private complaint. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
