ORDER

When the matter came up before this Court on 23.09.2025, it was submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the petitioner was employed as a contract labourer and the remedy available to him is only before the Labour Court and not before the Writ Court.

2. At that juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought time for getting instructions. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner is not present before this Court today.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader reiterated that the petitioner was only a contract labourer and since the period has lapsed, the petitioner is not working.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader, the writ petition stands dismissed, however, granting liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy, in accordance with law, before the appropriate forum. No costs.
