The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 03.08.2025 for the alleged offence under Section 8(c) and Section 20(b)(ii)(C) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in 1/3
Cr.No.265 of 2025 pending on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. When the matter is taken up today for hearing, it is represented by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that pursuant to the order passed by the District Collector and District Magistrate, Coimbatore District, dated 17.09.2025, the petitioner herein has been detained as "Drug Offender" as contemplated under Section 2(e) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and to that effect, he has produced the Detention Order dated 17.09.2025 in Cr.M.P.No:37/D.O/2025.
3. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
