This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to transfer the petitioner / convict namely Dinesh Kumar, S/o.Subramanian from the 2nd respondent to 3rd respondent in pursuance of the petitioner's mother representation dated 31.10.2024 (sent on 09.11.2024).

2. The representation touching upon the prayer sought for in the present writ petition seeking for transfer of the prisoner from the 2nd respondent prison to the 3rd respondent prison has been rejected by the jail authorities vide proceedings No.7240/rpe.2/2024 dated 20.02.2025.

3.In view of the above, no effective orders can be passed in the present writ petition. This writ petition stands dismissed accordingly granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order of the jail authorities dated 20.02.2025 in the manner known to law. No costs.
