(Order of the Court was made by P.Velmurugan J.) This Contempt Petition has been filed for non-compliance of the judgment made in W.A.No.1683 of 2015 dated 05.04.2023.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing the learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the judgment of this Court made in W.A.No.1683 of 2015 dated 05.04.2023 has been complied with.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the contempt petitioner submitted that this Court by order dated 05.04.2023, directed the respondent Management to pay the interest at the rate of 6% per annum on the delayed payment of retirement benefits to the petitioner/appellant from the date of retirement till the date of actual payment. He further submitted that the aggregate interest payable at 6% per annum works out to Rs.7,91,241/-, whereas, the respondent has paid only a sum of Rs.6,26,135/- and credited the same to the petitioner's account. Hence, he prayed that this Court may grant liberty to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation claiming the balance amount.

4. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Contempt Petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the respondent for claiming the balance amount, if so advised.
