Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus, calling for the records of the respondents relating to the impugned order of assessment made by the 3rd respondent in No.86/Udumalpet/Ward-B/Block-8/Fasli-1401, dated the 11th January 1994, which was confirmed by the order of the 2nd respondent in U.L.T.A.108/98-E5, dated 8th April 2000, and again confirmed by the order of the 1st respondent in the Revision Petition No.Rc.12889/2000-D2, dated the 5th May 2003, quash the same and as a consequential or further relief, directing the respondents to refund to the petitioner the total sum of Rs.12,960/- with interest at 18% per annum, which has been collected from the petitioner by the 4th respondent till today, towards Urban Land Tax.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition and she has also made an endorsement in the court bundle to that effect.

In view of the above, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected W.P.M.P.No.32224 of 2003 is closed.
