PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondents to give police protection for petitioner based on representation dated on 14.12.2019 her husband and his family members as well as their property.

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner based on the representation submitted by her on 14.12.2019.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is aged about 23 years and she married one Mr.M.Sethuraja and aggrieved by the same, the petitioner's family members are threatening the petitioner and her husband. Hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 14.12.2019 seeking police protection but there is no action taken on the representation and hence, he requests to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

direct the respondents to give police protection for the petitioner and her husband.

3. The learned Government Advocate has submitted that a suitable direction may be given to the second respondent to enquire with the said representation and pass appropriate order in accordance with law.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry with the said representation and pass appropriate order in accordance with law. 5.With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
