PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to issue patta in the name of petitioner the said property being all that piece and parcel of land comprising in survey of the petitioner situated at Kadagathur Village, Dharmapuri Taluk and Dharmapuri District comprised in old Survey No.478, New Survey No.478/22 of an extent of 516.3/4 sq.ft. within a time frame.

ORDER
Seeking a direction to the third respondent to issue patta in respect of the property measuring 516 3/4 sq.ft. in old Survey No.478, New Survey No.478/22, Kadagathur Village, Dharmapuri Taluk and Dharmapuri District, the petitioner is before this Court.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate accepting notice for the respondents.
3. The case of the petitioner is that she purchased the subject property vide document dated 28.3.2006 registered as doc.No.587 of 2006 on the file of the Joint-2 Sub-Registrar, Dharmapuri. Ever since the date of purchase, she has been in absolute possession and enjoyment of the same. In order to develop the subject property, the petitioner wants a patta. For that purpose, she sent a representation dated 03.10.2024 to the respondents seeking to issue a separate patta in her favour. As no action has been taken on the same, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition.
4. Considering the limited nature of the relief sought, the writ 2/4
petition is allowed and a Mandamus is issued to the third respondent to consider the said representation of the petitioner dated 03.10.2024 for the issuance of separate patta in respect of the subject property on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
