ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to issue patta to the petitioner's House property bearing Door No.2/251, Ponniamman Koil Street, Periyamathur, Chennai - 600 068, comprised in Survey No.64/1, situated at No.40, Mathur Village, Puzhal Panchayat Union, Ambattur Taluk, the then Thiruvallur District, now Chennai District, measuring about 2772 Sq.ft.

2. The respondents have filed counter affidavit.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the said land is classified as Government Poromboke and already there is a circular not to register any document related to Government lands which is zero value.

4. Since the subject land is a Government Poramboke land, the petitioner is not entitled to the relief sought for in this Writ Petition.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
