ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 12.12.2018 to issue patta for the property comprised in the New Survey Nos.184/7 and 184/8 to an extent of 1960 sq.ft. situated at Vennandhur Village, Rasipuram Taluk, Namakkal District, based on the report of the second respondent dated 08.06.2019.

2. Heard, Mr.K.Selvaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that on receipt of the application of the petitioner, the first respondent conducted an enquiry and rejected by an order dated 12.11.2019.

4. Considering the above, this Court is of the opinion that the writ petition is devoid of merits. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the first respondent, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same in the manner known to law.

5. In the result, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
