ORDER

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B) and Section 29(1) of NDPS Act 1985 in Crime No.513 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

The case of the prosecution is that on 30.07.2025 the respondent police received secret information that one Vikram and others were selling ganja near T.K.Pattu Football ground. Accordingly, police party went there and after complying the mandatory provisions, the Inspector of Police seized 1.500 kgs of Ganja from the accused persons. Hence, this case. 3.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence and falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is ready to produce solvent sureties and to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this

Court and also undertake to appear and to co-operate for the investigation, therefore, he prayed for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4.

Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed for granting of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, stating that the co-accused and the petitioner were involved in illegal selling of 1.500 kilograms of ganja. He further submitted that the petitioner has 3 previous cases of similar nature.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police and perused the materials available on record including the FIR. 6.

Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case and the petitioner herein has 3 previous cases of similar nature, this Court is not inclined to grant extra-remedy of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
