Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st and 2nd Respondents to initiate revenue recovery proceedings against the 3rd Respondent to recover the award amount passed by the 2nd Respondent in G.A. No. 17 of 2013 dated 02.03.2017 with Penal and other interest. For Petitioner :

(through video conference) It is informed by the Learned Counsel for the Third Respondent that a sum of Rs. 1,21,154/- has been remitted with the Assistant Commissioner of Labour, Coimbatore in full satisfaction of the claim for gratuity made by the Petitioner against the Third Respondent. As such, it is open to the Petitioner to make necessary application before the Assistant Commissioner of Labour, Coimbatore, for payment out of that amount. In view of the subsequent events, nothing survives for further consideration in this Writ Petition.
