Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 4th Respondent, dated 16.05.2015 vide proceeding No. 731/SETT/TLK/TNR/2019 and to quash the same and direct the District Collector, Karaikal to issue appropriate order for the transfer of the Patta No. 2231 for Survey No.53/5B, Nedungadu Village, Thirunallar Taluk, Karaikal District in favour of the Petitioner in pursuance of the Sale Deed dated 10.02.2016, and the Receipt and Challan dated 12.06.2017 - vide No.95/FT/17 issued by the Tashildhar, Thirunaallar.

When it is pointed by the Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents that the Petitioner has an alternative remedy by way of appeal under Section 21 (2) of the Puducherry Settlement Act, 1970, to challenge the order impugned in this Writ Petition, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the Writ Petition with liberty to resort to the same and he has made an endorsement to that effect, which is recorded.

Accordingly, Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn by granting such liberty. No Costs.
