This application has been filed to condone the delay of 679 days in filing Written Statement in C.S.No.183 of 2021 by the defendants 1 and 2.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either sides.

3. Considering the fact that the suit is for partition between family members, viz., daughter, father, brother and uncle and that the mediation is also going on between them, this Court, in order to give fair opportunity to the parties, is inclined to condone the delay and refer the matter to the Tamilnadu Mediation and Conciliation Center, attached to High Court, Madras for mediation on 27.03.2024, to arrive at an amicable settlement between the parties.
