Subash @ Subash Chandar v. State Represented By
Crl.O.P.No.28087 of 2023 Crl.O.P.No.28087 of 2023 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN , J.
The petitioner/A5 seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.742 of 2023, registered by the respondent Police for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(B), 29(i) and 25 of NDPS Act, 1985.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that there had been no seizure of contraband from the petitioner herein.
3. It is the case of the prosecution that 4.300 kgs of ganja had been seized from A1 to A4 who stated that this petitioner had supplied the ganja. It is therefore natural he would not have any ganja with him since he had already supplied to other co-accused.
4. Taking all those factors into consideration, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
