ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioners based on the first petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2023.

2.The first petitioner is the defacto complainant in a complaint on which the respondent had registered C.S.R. No.41 of 2023. The gist of the complaint is that the accused named by the petitioners had entered into the Mango grove of the petitioners and had cut the trees and set fire to the hut put up in the mango grove of the petitioners. 3.It is stated by the respondent that, earlier, a complaint had been given and had been enquired and had been closed. It is stated that the respondent had only asked the petitioner to produce certain documents. 4.Taking into consideration that the first petitioner who is the defacto complainant is a lady and had expressed that she had suffered owing to the trespass of the accused and had been put to monetary loss, let investigation proceed in the manner known to law. The respondent may permit the petitioners to be accompanied by any person whom she thinks would be helpful to her, who may be an Advocate or anybody whom she feels is acquainted with the facts of the case. 2/4

5.Recording as above, this Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
