Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the counsel resolution Ramanathapuram Municipality bearing No.614 dated 26.05.2004 with regard to resolution No.3 (3) canceling the allotment of shops in eastern side of Anna School pertaining to Shop No.2 allotted to the petitioner on the ground that the shop was run by binamee and also to bring the shop under fresh auction and quash the same consequently permit the petitioner to continue the lease for the period from 1st July 2004 to 30th June 2007 by accepting the 15% of the enhanced amount from the petitioner of the previous year lease amount. For Petitioner : No Appearance For Respondent : Mr.P.S.Jayakumar

Today(13-07-2017), when the matter is taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the petitioner. The relief prayed by the petitioner in the present writ petition seeking for extension of lease period was not granted. this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous, as nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition. No costs.
