Prayer: Writ Miscellaneous Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prayed for a direction, directing the respondents to extend the Interim Bail granted to the detenue, Aslam, S/o.Jainulapudin, Convict No.18819, confined at Central Prison, Coimbatore in W.M.P.No.28847 of 2024 in W.P.No.12560 of 2022, order dated 12.09.2024 from 20.12.2024 until the disposal of above writ petition. O R D E R

[Order of the Court is made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The writ miscellaneous petition has been instituted, seeking extension of interim bail granted in W.M.P.No.28847 of 2024 in W.P.No.12560 of 2022 dated 12.09.2024.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that the Probation Officer recommended the case of the Convict Prisoner for premature release and the matter is pending for consideration before the Government.

3. In view of the facts and circumstances and taking note of the fact that the interim bail expires on 20.12.2024, we are inclined to extend the interim bail for another period of three months on the same conditions as imposed in W.M.P.No.27486 of 2023 in W.P.No.12560 of 2022.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Miscellaneous Petition stands allowed accordingly, by extending the interim bail for a further period of three (3) months, commencing from 21.12.2024 to 20.03.2025. [S.M.S., J.] [M.J.R., J.] 16.12.2024 Index : Yes Speaking order / Non-speaking order kak
