O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation expeditiously and file charge sheet in the case registered in Crime No.480 of 2017 pending on the file of third respondent police station within a stipulated time.

2. Heard Dr.A.R.Shanmugam, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the investigation has been completed and the draft final report is also ready and two weeks time is required to file the same before the learned Judicial Magistrate II, Hosur. A copy of the draft closure report was also produced before this Court.

4. In the light of the above development, if the closure report is going to be filed, RCS notice shall be served on the de facto complainant. It will be left open to the de facto complainant to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
