ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to Sub-Court, Alandur for speedy disposal of HMOP.NO.408 of 2024. 1/4

2. According to the petitioner/ husband, he filed a petition for divorce against the respondent in HMOP.No.11 of 2023 on the file of Family Court, Pudukottai. The said petition was subsequently transferred on an application filed by the respondent to Sub-Court, Alandur and re-numbered as HMOP.No.408 of 2024. Since there is no substantial progress in the enquiry, the petitioner has come before this court.

3. A perusal of the adjudication sheet filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that after transfer of HMOP.No.11 of 2023 to Sub-Court, Alandur, the counter of the respondent was filed on 20.09.2025 and the matter was posted for enquiry.

4. Since the pleadings of the parties are completed and the original petition was posted for enquiry, taking into consideration the fact that the divorce petition was filed in the year 2023 and 2 years have gone without any substantial progress, this Court is inclined to direct the Sub-Court, Alandur, to dispose of the HMOP.NO.408 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible. 2/4

5. With this direction, the Civil Revision petition stands disposed of. No costs.
