ORDER

The matter has been listed, pursuant to the order dated 03.06.2025, printing the name of the respondent in the cause list. Today, there is no appearance on the side of the respondent, either in person or through any 1/4

counsel. Hence, I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. I have also perused the affidavit and typed set of papers filed in support of the transfer petition.

2.The petitioner is the wife, who has sought for transfer of SMOP.No.134 of 2024 which is pending on the file of the District and Sessions Court, Cuddalore. The petitioner has expressed her genuine inconvenience and difficulties to attend the hearings at Cuddalore and seeks transfer of the proceedings to the Family Court, Chengalpattu. 3.The petitioner has made out a prima facie case for such transfer. Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the case in SMOP.No.134 of 2024 is hereby withdrawn from the file of the District and Sessions Court, Cuddalore and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Chengalpattu. There shall be no order as to costs. Connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
