ORDER

The petitioner wants this Court to restrain the respondents from harassing him.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) states that the petitioner was earlier convicted for having committed the offence under the Lottery Regulation Act.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is no longer involved in selling or dealing with the lottery tickets. It is fairly admitted by the respondents that as on date, there is no case registered against the petitioner herein.

4. Since no criminal complaint is pending against the petitioner herein, the respondents cannot harass the petitioner. If the respondents want to enquire the petitioner, they have to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

necessarily adhere to the due process of law by issuing a summon to him.

5. The Criminal Original Petition is allowed in the above terms.
